Its gone!
October 16, 2009 by Trent
I spent enough time on this project it was very hard to see it go. It was fun to see it go to someone who appreciates it. The man in the picture did not even hear it start before he told his wife "Pay the man!", she protested and he said "Pay the man!". I encouraged him to ride it first. He took it for a short ride, came back and said "Pay the man". He loved it. He had one like it a long time ago that he had to sell. You can see the full project on the motorcycle page or on the full album.

Labor Day
October 01, 2009 by Christy
On labor day we sold our fish and replaced them with smaller, low maintenance fish. Our big fish went to someone's backyard pond. We also moved rock from our garden spot. The kids helped for a while, but ended up running through the sprinklers to keep cool. They had a blast. We also had a hot dog roast (well, as close as you can get in the city) and made some yummy S'mores too. Aubry figured out how to roast at the same time she was eating so she always had a mouthful. I turned my back for a minute to grab the phone and left the chocolate on the table. When I came back Mark was stuffing his mouth and said, "Yummy chocolate, yummy chocolate!"

Birthdays
October 01, 2009 by Christy
Aubry and Miriam have both had birthdays in the last little while. They both opted for Grandma Jean's chocolate cake. Miriam's dinner menu was cheese sandwiches and tomato soup and Aubry chose to have dutch babies. Dad even made one of them in the dutch oven. Our little gals are growing so fast!

Rexburg Rumble

It was great to be home and relax a bit. We did some house hopping, but it was SOOO good to drink the yummy water, relax in the cool weather, riding the 4-wheelers, making necklaces with grandma, and most of all be with our family!

Spaulding Stop
September 30, 2009 by Christy
We drove from the Putnam Reunion to a camp with cabins just outside of Twin Falls. The kids loved playing in the dirt (as you can see) and being with their cousins. It was great to reconnect and catch up with everyone. During part of the reunion we held the Spaulding Olympic Games. We came away grateful for the heritage we have and the time we had with our wonderful family!
