On to the New Year

January 20, 2010 by Christy

We spent Christmas in Idaho this year and the kids had so much fun with all their grandparents and of course grandma and grandpa's new puppy, Tug. It was great to be with Aunts and Uncles, play in the snow and enjoy New Years together. We ended up staying a day later due to a snow storm and got in a good day in the snow. The snow was too dry for a snowman, so we opted for a snow turtle.

Christmas morning was magical. It was so fun to see our children's excitement and watch them enjoy all the fun new things. We are so blessed!

Nativity

January 19, 2010 by Christy

We went to Idaho again for Christmas and got to stop in at Las Vegas Monday night. We had a very creative Family Home Evening. We acted out the nativity: Aubry was an angel, Mark & Jameson were sheep, Jake and Trent were Shepherds, Trent was King Herod, Jake and Corene were Wise People, Jeff was Joseph, Miriam was Mary, Christy was an innkeeper, and Christy and Corene were narrators. Somehow we missed getting pictures of Corene's costume - which was the best!

November

January 17, 2010 by Christy

It has been WAY too long since we posted. The next few entries are a quick recap. Thanksgiving was great. Jeff and Corene were kind enough to make the long drive from Las Vegas to join us, Lori(friend) and Greg (colleague from work). We enjoyed a delicious meal and an amazing Thanksgiving play featuring Aubry and Jake as pilgrims, Miriam as the Indian, Jeff as our boat motor (the boat was a blanket) and Christy as narrator.Greg also assisted backstage (curtain holder). Corene & Christy were in charge of costume design with able assistants Mark, Miriam, James, Aubry, and Jake. We had a wonderful afternoon blowing gigantic bubbles at the park and were all sad to part company when the time came. Unfortunately all our pictures are on our video camera, so here are a handful of pictures from Nov.

Its gone!

October 16, 2009 by Trent

I spent enough time on this project it was very hard to see it go. It was fun to see it go to someone who appreciates it. The man in the picture did not even hear it start before he told his wife "Pay the man!", she protested and he said "Pay the man!". I encouraged him to ride it first. He took it for a short ride, came back and said "Pay the man". He loved it. He had one like it a long time ago that he had to sell. You can see the full project on the motorcycle page or on the full album.
